A first-floor lobby waiting
to be reinterpreted
How can “vitality” be expressed
without using new resources?
Through the prudence
of Farglory employees,
the imagination of designers,
and the persistence of
construction crews,
the process was
one of conflict and compromise.
After the clash,
they decided to flip the wall tiles,
letting the raw texture
of the materials
open up
infinite possibilities.

Material source:
Waste from renovation of Farglory headquarters, ordinary residential project
Material features:
Hand dryers discarded after the renovation of the restrooms on each floor and discarded wood from a construction site were collected and made into wall lights.
Discarded hand dryers from restrooms were recycled and remade into aluminum panels, which were then cut and shaped into rounded lampshades.
The structure of the light fixture is added with discarded wood from a construction site for a combination of different materials to soften the cold and hard texture of the aluminum.

The lampshade is made of aluminum sheets sourced from discarded hand dryers.

Waste wood cladding is used for the details.
This light fixture will become a standard feature for all future public restroom renovations at the headquarters.
